The Visible Music College student housing, currently under construction, behind the iconic building at 200 Madison Avenue, showcases our innovation when working with confined urban sites and creative teams. This five story building, designed by Archimania, will have 63 micro-living spaces each equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. The building's structure is primarily conventional light-wood framing. Foundations consist of shallow footings bearing on Geopiers and are cantilevered on both sides due to adjacent building footings and infrastructure. The design phase was compressed and fast-tracked because the school wants to have students move in for the 2016 school year.
